Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Vanta Bot ("the Bot") to your Discord server or using the Vanta Bot website, dashboard, or related services (collectively, "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Vanta Bot provides Discord server management features including moderation, ticketing, giveaways, applications, leveling, logging, and related tooling. The Service is provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time without notice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required to use Discord in your jurisdiction) and have the authority to configure the Discord server you manage with the Bot. You are responsible for all activity performed under your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service to violate Discord’s Terms of Service or Community Guidelines; (b) use the Service for unlawful, harassing, abusive, or fraudulent purposes; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, overload, or attack the Service; (d) resell or sublicense access to the Service without written permission. Violations may result in suspension of access without refund.
5. Premium Subscriptions
Premium features are offered as monthly or annual subscriptions billed per Discord server. Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the customer portal; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; existing subscriptions remain at the prior rate until renewal.
6. Servers and User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit or that your members generate through the Bot (messages, tickets, applications, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to process this content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to share any content processed by the Service and for complying with applicable data protection laws.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vanta Bot and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service and remove the Bot from your server at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we believe your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or others. Upon termination, your configuration may be deleted in accordance with our retention policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by other reasonable means. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
